Description: This hand-woven, semi-antique rug contains a diamond-shaped medallion on a Shah Abbas field. Shah Abbas fields contain a series of curvilinear floral forms, creating a garden-like background. In this rug, arabesque vines, palmettes and lancet leaves fill the Shah Abbas.
